The Tamagotchi version 2 was a refresh of the original Tamagotchi. This one included different characters to raise and a different mini-game to play. The caregiving process is the same as the version 1, where the player raises the pet to be happy and healthy as long as possible.

The first Tamagotchi I ever owned was a Version 2.
